One of the things that can kill a deal in real estate is when major defects are discovered during a buyer's home inspection. One way to avoid this is to arrange for a seller's home inspection prior to listing your home. If major systems in your home are nearing their useful life or your home has not been diligently maintained, it might make sense to have an inspection to uncover any potential problems.
